♣️♦️ Poker, Business and women — not the most common mix, but what a night!
I recently joined a business poker event in Zürich and made it all the way to the final table, finishing 6th — and as the only woman sitting there at the end.
At the start, we were asked to write our names and a topic of interest for conversations. Mine? Awareness and People. Let’s just say that raised a few eyebrows in a room 🤣
Funny detail: about 15 years ago, I was a Texas Hold’em dealer in the States. Never thought I’d use those skills again… certainly not in a business setting in Switzerland. 😅
What did I take away? Poker is not just about cards — it’s about focus, presence, and a bit of playfulness. And it turns out those things work just as well at the table as in life.
