With September well along, the golden colours are gradually starting to set in. While fall colours aren't usually something you associate with Iceland, autumn here is surprisingly colourful and lovely - September often brings some of the best weather of the year. The only downside is that autumn is short-lived, with most of the leaves usually gone by mid-October, when winter starts making its presence felt.
