Suddenly, you aren’t checking the news; you’re checking wind gradients. You don’t see a beautiful forest; you see a „technical landing nightmare.“ You don’t have „spare time“ anymore; you have „flyable windows.“
The last few weeks at the flight school have been a complete 180-degree shift from my 3 years of solo hiking. I used to find peace in the silence of the trail, but now I only find it in the whistle of the lines at 2,000ft. 🌬️🧘♂️
