Some places we visited during our trip through Slovenia were strongly captivating, with so much to see. Especially when visiting a new country, it’s always more exciting than going to a place one already knows. This excitement is further enhanced when you bring along a new camera. This was the first trip with our new @nikondach Z8 cameras. It’s incredible what power @nikondach has managed to pack into this compact body, making it great for traveling and hiking. (AD)
In the vast landscapes of the Lyngen Alps in Northern Norway lies this hidden valley. It was a magical day we still often think back to. As we walked up the valley, we were treated to many amazing views, including hidden lakes in the birch woods. In the evening, with the sun setting, we spotted a young elk through the orange leaves still hanging to the trees. It was a moment not to capture on camera, but simply to enjoy.
A shot from already 7 years ago. Unfortunately we never returned to this amazing place, but it was an unforgettable sunset for sure!
image from 150 years ago - obviously not 😉 In 1804 Richard Trevithick constructed the first steam locomotive riding on tracks. It marked the starting point of the railway era. Transportation and travel changed rapidly since then.
There are not only epic waterfalls in Iceland, but also in Switzerland! In the next few weeks they will carry their biggest water loads, since the snow in the mountains is melting rapidly in the warm sun of spring.☀️
