The Dream Before Christmas.
What's this? This, is the historic snowfall captured on October 28th in Reykjavik. While we all knew winter was around the corner, this isn't exactly what was expected now just before halloween. This snowfall was remarkable - not only for how much snow fell in less than a day, but for how early in the season it arrived. In just one day, Reykjavik was covered in around 40 cm of snow, nearly three times the previous October record from 1921 of 15 cm.
It truly felt like being inside a real-life snow globe - and with Halloween just around the corner it was like a magical dream before Christmas. I think Jack Skellington would have been as surprised as the rest of us.
