What Holzträgete is: 👇
The first of August is the 🇨🇭 National Day and is celebrated with bonfires on the top of many mountains. Right above Valentin’s hometown you find the majestic mountain chain „Churfirsten“, which consists of 7 peaks which are lit with a bonfire each @toggenburg_swiss .

To make this magic event happen, a lot of wood is needed, which is carried up log by log by regular hikers like us (Holzträgete = wood carrying). So if you’re hiking to one of the Churfirsten peaks this July, you can also contribute.🔥
